Walter Cecil Taylor, 71, of Marbury, died Thursday, July 26, 2018.

He was born Friday, November 8, 1946, in Chilton County, Alabama, son of the late Cecil Edward Taylor and the late Callie Elizabeth Smith Taylor.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and, most of all, a true friend.  He will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Surviving are daughters, Lisann Taylor, Chrystal Waller and Abria Taylor; son, Adam Taylor; sisters, Alva Covington, Mary Thompson, Helen Huven, Gracie Taylor, Carol Hammaker and Dorothy Hubbard; brothers, Horace Taylor, Cecil Lee Taylor and Bobby Joe Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Edward and Callie Taylor.

Friends will be received from 1 – 2 p.m., Monday, July 30, 2018, at Union Springs Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 30, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Union Springs Baptist with Rev. Evie Megginson officiating.

Interment will follow in Union Springs Bapt. Church Cemetery.
