Pies by Mike in Clanton will be holding a fundraiser to benefit the YMCA of Chilton County.

Owner Mike Graham will donate a portion of sales made on July 25 to the YMCA. The fundraiser will run from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.

“Ten percent of card sales and 20 percent of cash sales will be given to them,” Graham said.

According to Graham, he does a fundraiser like this one “every so often.”

“We did one for Butterfly Bridge in the spring,” he said. “I try to do this with several different organizations. It’s not a huge fundraiser, but it’s a nice way to give back, and it helps get my name out there.”

Graham started selling his wares out of his house in November of 2014. He has been operating the business full time since April 1 of this year when he “took the next step.”

Graham will be selling breakfast pies that day, which are either ham, egg and cheese or sausage, egg and cheese.

He will also have his two top-selling dessert pies available: pecan and Toll House®.

“I will also have some new items I’m trying out, like key lime pie, praline and mousse and apple minis,” he said.

Pies by Mike is located at 808 Logan Rd. in Clanton.
