The names of nine individuals who were arrested on drug charges at a Jemison address on July 19 have been released.
Each subject faces a single count of second-degree possession of marijuana and first-offense drug paraphernalia, with a $750 bond per charge.
Among those released on July 20 are Winford Andrew Richards, Amanda Creel Richards, Matthew Travis Richards, Presley Madison Perry, Rodney Lynn Porter, Monica Dawn Ashworth and Charles Richard Cobern.
Tina Renee Porter was released on July 21.
Michael Landon Sheffield faces additional charges of appearing in a public place under the influence ($500 bond), possession of methamphetamine ($2,500 bond) and promoting prison contraband (drugs; $5,000 bond).
Sheffield remains in the custody of the Chilton County Jail.
The individuals were located in possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia at a known “drug house” off County Road 8 after the Jemison Police Department and Chilton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a man suffering a drug overdose at the address, according to CCSO.
The man is believed to be in better condition following treatment.
