Carla Regina Nelson Griffin, 62, of Clanton, died Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham.

She was born Thursday, April 19, 1956, in Montgomery, Alabama, daughter of the late David Carl Nelson and Geraldine Johnson Nelson.

She was a Bank Clerk.

Surviving are husband, Rev. Robert Griffin of Clanton, Alabama; son, Matt (Shona) Griffin of Clanton, Alabama; daughters, Shelley (Ben) Hill of Ithaca, Michigan and Dena (Bradley) Griffin of Calera, Alabama; 12 grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews; mother, Geraldine Nelson of Clanton, Alabama; brothers, David Nelson of Clanton, Alabama and Greg (Tina) Nelson of Clanton, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Carl Nelson.

Friends will be received from 5 – 7 pm, Monday, July 9, at Highland Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 10, at 11 am at Highland Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Griffin and Dr. Larry Felkins officiating.
