Calvary Independent Baptist Church in Clanton is hosting a Singing and Cake Auction benefitting Relay For Life on April 21 at 6 p.m. at the church.

Admission is free.

Lined up to lead the Gospel worship are musicians Gary McKee, Ray and Rhonda Headley, Sam Price and the Calvary Crusaders.

The auction will feature a variety of desserts.

“It doesn’t have to be cake,” Brenda Mims of Calvary Independent Baptist Church said. “It can be pies or whatever — cookies — whatever anybody wants to bring or donate.”

Mims said the church Relay For Life team aims “to raise what they can” from the auction to support the American Cancer Society.
