Applications for the 2018 Peach Pageant are now available.

Registration date is May 6 at 2 p.m. with orientation at 3 p.m. at the Chilton County Senior Connection.

Contestants need to bring four wallet size headshots, a copy of their birth certificate, completed fact sheet and contract, entry fee, ad and ad money.

Applications for the Peach Pageant are available at Morlyn’s, Shear Perfection, Visions, Brenda’s, Frou Frou Frocks, Classy Touch, YMCA, Hopes Chest for Girls and Cornerstone Fitness.

Miss Peach Queen and the first alternate will receive scholarships. The other queens and first alternates receive cash prizes.

The deadline for the Peach Photogenic contest will also be May 6 at 2 p.m. at the Senior Connection. The categories will be 0-5 months; 6-11 months; 1-2 years old; 3-4 years old; 5-7 years old; 8-10 years old; 11-13 years old; 14-15 years old; 16-17 years old; and 18-19 years old.

Contestants should submit a 5×7 headshot taken in the past year. Headshots should not be heavily digitally enhanced.

Senior Connection is located at 304 Park Plaza in Clanton.

The Peach Pageant contests will be as follows: Little Miss Pageant on June 23, Young Miss on June 25, Junior Miss on June 26 and Miss on June 28.

This year’s T-shirts are also available at Bucks Clothing, Bahama Drama, Morlyn’s and Peach Park and the Peoples Southern Bank in Thorsby.
Colors include peach, Caribbean blue, sports gray, lime green and white.  Youth to adult XL is $12 and XXL and up is $14.
