Carolyn Headley Dobbins, 72, of Jemison died Monday, Feb. 12.

She was born on Saturday, May 19, 1945 in Jemison, daughter of the late Winston Headley and the late Bama Mirece Posey Headley.

She was a nursing assistant at Shelby Baptist Hospital.

Surviving are her daughters, Angela (Wayne) Farmer of Jemison and Amy Moody of Jemison; granddaughter, Briana Moody of Jemison; grandsons, Eric Farmer of Jemison and Wesley Farmer of Jemison; sister, Brenda (Jimmy) Durham of Jemison; brother, Doug (Joanne) Headley of Jemison; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Dobbins.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mt. United Methodist Church with Pastor Phil Guin officiating.

Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Jemison.
