Betty Campbell Glass

Betty Campbell Glass, 87, of Jemison died Friday, Jan. 26.

She was born on Wednesday, April 2, 1930 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Vester Campbell and the late Dovie Ellison Campbell.

She was a seamstress.

Surviving are daughters, Shirley McAfee of Clanton, Sandy Davenport of Clanton, and Becky Glass of Clarksville, Tennessee; son, Robert (Brenda) Glass of Billingsley; granddaughters, Alicia Dobbs of Birmingham, Cassie (Craig) Bolling of Clanton, and Dawn (Nathan) Pruett of Trussville; grandsons, Brent (Kerri) Davenport of Clanton and Clint Glass of Wilsonville; great-granddaughter, Brooke (Grey) Foster; great-grandsons, Brady Bolling, and Trevor and Austin Pruet; great-great-grandson, Kase Foster; and great-great-granddaughter, Kolsyn Foster.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt W. Glass; brothers, Howard T. Campbell and Allison C. Campbell; and son-in-laws, Donald Davenport and Don McAfee.

Friends were received from 12-2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 28 at Martin Chapel. Services were held Sunday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Matt DeBord officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Jemison.
