Lois Rockett Maddox

Lois Rockett Maddox, 90, of Clanton died Friday, Jan. 5.

She was born on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1927 in Chilton County, daughter of the late John Dewey Rockett and the late Bertie Robinson Rockett.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughters, Beth Dozier of Birmingham and Claudia (Bill) Abernathy of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son, Bill (Melinda) Maddox of Clanton; sister, Nell Powers of Clanton; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Maddox

Friends were received from 12:30-2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 7 at Martin Chapel. Services were held Sunday, Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Matt DeBord officiating.
