Marvin Arthur Green

Marvin Arthur Green, 76, of Clanton died Sunday, Nov. 26 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton.

He was born on Saturday, June 14, 1941 in Jefferson County, son of the late Marvin B. Green and the late Ozemma Frances Mizzell Green.

He worked as a railroad depot agent, guidance counselor, basketball coach and peach farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Peggy Hicks Green; daughter, Dr. Lisa Green; and son-in-law, Matthew Clark.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Byron and Ozemma Mizzell Green and brother, Joe Lee Green.

Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 2 at Martin Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Dec. 2 at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel.
