C.A. Turner

C.A. Turner, 90, of Clanton died Tuesday, Aug. 8.

He was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1927 in Alabama, son of the late Oscar Turner and the late Clara Langston Turner.

He was a Class A repairman for Transcontinental Pipe.

Surviving are his wife, Imogene Turner; son, Richard (Gina) Turner; daughter, Sheila (Tim) DeLoach; grandsons, Ian DeLoach, Ty (Amanda) DeLoach; granddaughters, Tiffany Raines, and Tori DeLoach; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Clara Turner.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 12p.m., Thursday, Aug. 10 at Highland Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 10 at 12 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Baptist Cemetery, Clanton.
