Chilton County jury duty is canceled for July 24-28.

“Yesterday, it all got settled,” Chilton County Circuit Clerk Glenn McGriff said on July 20.

So, no jury duty is required.

“This week was a civil week with Judge Reynolds,” McGriff explained. “We had five cases for civil, and they all settled out.”

To prevent any unnecessary trips to the county court room, McGriff said he wants the announcement out as soon as possible.

“Trying to help them from taking a day off (from work),” he said.
