James Edward (Jimmy) Belless

James Edward (Jimmy) Belless entered eternity on Wednesday, May 17.

Jimmy was an ornamental ironworker who took great pride in his work and continued that passion until the end. Jimmy was a kindhearted loving man and he was a great friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Terry; father, Jack Belless; grandparents, Buster and Minnie Pearl McGraw and grandson, Michael Fallin.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Doris Jean Belless; children, Cliff (Linda) Brasher, Deborah (Chris) Miller, Gidget Merchant, Jeannie (Greg) Gardner, James (Dawn) Belless, Vicky (Clyde) Jones and Danielle Ellison; brothers, Jack (Susan) Belless, Mike Belless; sister, Sara Boatwright.

Jimmy was also blessed with a host of grandchildren that he leaves behind. He also leaves behind his beloved pets.

Visitation will be between 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, May 21 at Rockco Funeral Home in Montevallo, with the service following at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Community Cemetery in Brierfield.

Rockco Funeral Home – Montevallo will be in charge of the services.
