Belma Joyce Smith Klinner
Belma Joyce Smith Klinner, age 83 of Maplesville, passed away Tuesday, April 25, at her residence.
She was born on March 4, 1934, daughter of the late J. Henderson Smith and the late Allulia Belle Caver Smith.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 57 years, Jimmie J. Klinner of Maplesville; daughter, Janet K. (Paul) McLendon of Millbrook; son, Randal Klinner of Maplesville; sister, Dorothy S. Oates of Prattville; granddaughter, Joy L. McLendon of Millbrook; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J. Henderson Smith and Allulia Belle Smith; and siblings, Ruby L. Wyatt, L. Zerleigh Smith, Charles A. Smith, Dollie M. McInvale, H. Alton Smith, Cecil C. Smith, and Malcolm C. Smith.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 29 at 11 a.m. from the Sardis Baptist Church in Maplesville with Rev. Matthew Brasher officiating. The body lay in state one hour prior to the service. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Visitation was held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.
