James Euell “J.B.” Billingsley
James Euell “J.B.” Billingsley, age 49 of the Mineral Springs Community in Clanton, passed away on Sunday, April 9 at his residence.
He was born in Chilton County on November 17, 1967; the son of the late Ocie Wilbert Billingsley and Eva Grace Robinson Billingsley.
J.B. was a paint and body repairman with Billingsley Body Shop in Clanton for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Billingsley of Clanton; son, Dustin Billingsley of Clanton; mother, Eva Grace Billingsley of Clanton; sister, Virginia Dian Owens of Prattville; sister, Nancy (Ronnie) Sewell of Clanton; sister, Alice (Steve) Floyd of Prattville; mother-in-law, Carolyn (Johnny) Robinson of Clanton; brother-in-law, Keith (Shellie) Baker of Texas; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 11 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 12 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Mineral Springs Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
Active pallbearers will be Justin Brand, Chris Ward, Daniel Rasberry, Jeremy Rasberry, Ronnie Sewell, and Hub Billingsley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ryan Glenn, Mike Hand, and Tim Harmon.
