Phyllis Jean Frederick

Phyllis Jean Frederick, age 80, of Montevallo, passed away Monday, Feb. 6.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira C. Frederick; sons, Ira Curtis Frederick, Jr. and Jacky L. Frederick; father, Morgan G. Lovejoy; and mother, Emmie Lee Lovejoy.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Bell (Jim) and Meredith Loggins (Kenneth); sons, Michael R. Frederick (Faye) and Bryan O. Frederick (Phyllis A.); 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Mitchie Lucas; brother, James “Jimmy” Lovejoy; and aunt, Annie Lumpkin.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 5-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). Her funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo), with Bro. Steve Johnson to officiate. Burial will follow at Ashby Cemetery.
