Kevin Ray Jones

Kevin Ray Jones, 41, of Clanton died Saturday, Feb. 4, at St. Vincent’s Chilton, Clanton.

He was born on Thursday, June 19, 1975 in Chilton County, son of the late Kenneth Ray Jones and the late Vickey Minor Jones.

He was a truck driver.

Surviving are mother, Vickey Jones; stepfather, Ricky Lockhart; sister, Stephanie (Tom) Killingsworth; step-brothers, Willard Lockhart and Justin Lockhart; step-sister, Misty Bolton; nieces, Chloe Killingsworth, Kennise Bolton, Kyndal Bolton, Kinley Bolton, and Alyssa Lockhart; nephews, Cain Killingsworth, Shane Lockhart, and Dylan Lockhart; grandmother, Pernie Jones; girlfriend, Mary Easterling; and close friends, Ethan Roper and Derrick Lockhart.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ray Jones; grandmother, Christine Easterling; grandfather, Charlie Jones; grandfather, Earl Easterling; aunt, Darlene Easterling; and cousins, Shawn, Shane, Jessica, Chanse Jones and Windy Popwell.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 6 at Refuge Baptist Church.

Services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. at Refuge Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Refuge Baptist Cemetery, Clanton.
