Doris T. Kirkland

Doris T. Kirkland, 90, of Clanton died Monday, Dec. 26.

She was born on Sunday, Oct. 3, 1926 in Chilton County, daughter of the late John Thomas and the late Era Marcus Thomas.

She was a lunchroom worker.

Surviving are her daughters, Sara K. Crim, Elouise K. Gentry, and Mable K. Littleton; sisters, Grace Meank and Willie Mae Nichols; four grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Kirkland; grandson, Robert Alan Gentry; two brothers and three sisters.

Friends will be received from 12-1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 30 at Victory Chapel Church.

Services will be held Friday, Dec. 30 at 1 p.m. at Victory Chapel Church with Rev. Randy Reid, Rev. Donnie Messer and Rev. Roland Hazel officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
