Zane Allen Baker Cost

Zane Allen Baker Cost, age 80 of Clanton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born in Sylacauga on Nov. 4, 1935, daughter of the late Bud Allen Baker and the late Willie Cochran Baker.

She was a finish winder for Buck Creek Industries Cotton Mill.

She is survived by her children, William Allen (Christine) Cost of Leesburg, Fla., Mitchell E (Bonny) Cost of Clanton, and Lela Carr of Clanton; granddaughters, Samantha Cost of Clanton and Alexis Carr of Clanton; and a brother, William Dan Baker of Panama City, Fla.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Cost and her parents, Bud and Willie Baker.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. from the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Horton officiating.

Interment will follow in the Shelby Garden of Rest in Shelby.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
