Charles Rodger Smith

Charles Rodger Smith, 64, of Jemison died Tuesday, Sept. 20.

He was born on Friday, April 25, 1952 in Alabama, son of the late Charles A. Smith and Bessie Mae Bolton Smith.

He was a construction superintendent.

Surviving are his mother, Bessie Mae Smith; sons, Brian Heath Smith and Mark Adam (Ashley) Smith; granddaughter, Christina Smith; sister, JoAnn Atkinson; brothers, William Craig (Nancy) Smith and Kent Aubrey (Elizabeth) Smith; aunts, Kathleen Reynolds and Elsie Mae Smith; and numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles A. Smith.

Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Thursday, Sept. 22, at 1 p.m. at Martin Chapel.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison.
