Jemison 28, Sumter Central 20
The Panthers earned a second consecutive victory on the road against Sumter Central. The offense gained 316 total yards and were led by Eric Evans who accounted for 230 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
The defense intercepted a pair of passes, including one by Ty Leachman to end a late fourth quarter drive by Sumter Central.
Maplesville 56, Highland Home 0
Maplesville won on the road against Highland Home with a final score of 56-0. The Red Devils are now 2-0, with both wins coming in region play.
Opelika 42, Chilton County 0
The Tigers trailed 14-0 at halftime, but saw Opelika’s lead grow with a 21-point third quarter.
Keshawn Williams led the offensive attack with 113 total yards on 23 touches, while Dustin Cleckler once again finished with a team-high 14 tackles.
Chilton County dropped to 1-3 overall on the season and 0-2 in the region.
Meadowview Christian 69, Chilton Christian 12
Chilton Christian Academy lost 69-12 against Meadowview Christian from Selma. CCA is now 0-3. Ju Bice had two touchdowns and 90 yards rushing.
