Dorothy Ann Campbell Bowman 

Dorothy Ann Campbell Bowman, age 57 of Clanton, passed away suddenly Sunday, Sept. 4 at her residence.

She was born in Clanton on Feb. 5, 1959, the daughter of Hermas Campbell and the late Clara Robinson Campbell.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Freddy Bowman of Clanton; son, Jonathan (Abby) Bowman of Jemison; son, Jeremy (Tabitha) Bowman of Jemison; daughter, Jennifer (Justin) O’Neal of Helena; grandchildren, Jessilyn and Dawson Bowman; father, Hermas Campbell of Thorsby; brothers: J.W. Campbell, Billy Joe Campbell, Wayne Campbell, and Barry Campbell; and sisters: Linda Cummings, Teresa Holsomback, and Sandy Shaw.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Clara Campbell; and infant brothers, David and Van Campbell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 3 p.m. from the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church No. 1 with Rev. Daryl Jones officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Baptist No. 1 Cemetery in Thorsby.
