Jolette Ellison

Jolette Ellison, age 57, of Clanton, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 30.

She was raised in the Pentecostal Church where she was very involved and sang for the Lord. She finally got a Facebook page four months ago and all her post were about her Lord and Savior, her grandchildren and family. Her sons will remember what an excellent cook she was.

Her survivors include her significant other, Charles “Gaggy” Edward Roden; parents, Bobby Joe and Agnes Ellison; sons, Michael Duane Curl and Kevin Weston Curl (Alicia Nicole); sister, Kaye Abrams; brothers, Joel D. Ellison (Elizabeth), John T. Ellison (Cindy), Bryan K. Ellison (Lisa) and Barry B. Ellison (Beth); grandchildren,

Jessica Maureen Mosley, Courtney Paige Curl, Michael Weston Curl, Kevin Austin Anderson and Hannah Aileen Curl; great grandchildren, Aubrey Danielle Mosley and David Robert Mosley and a host of other family members and friends.

The visitation will be 5-6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 1 at Charter Funeral Home. The chapel funeral service will follow the same night at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at Dargin Cemetery, Calera at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 2.
