Eddie Mims turned 88 years old on June 1.

Mims celebrated with his family and friends while enjoying homemade strawberry cake made by a friend of the family. All of his daughters—Lisa (Donald) Vinzant, Nina (Ronnie) Headley, Kim (Mitch) Moore, Pam (Alex) Emerick and Angie (Chris) Handley—most of his grandchildren and a couple of his great-grandchildren attended.

Mims parents are the late Ed Mims and Susie Cleckler Mims.
