Randall “Randy” Alton Roper, 56, of Maplesville died Sunday, June 12, 2016.
He was born on Thursday, March 3, 1960 in Chilton County, son of the late Douglas Alton Roper and the late Carol Jean Wyatt Roper.
He was a Supervisor.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sharon Taylor Roper of Maplesville; daughters, Miranda Roper of Maplesville, Melissa Roper of Maplesville, Tara Mitchell (Hunter) Matthews of Montgomery; grandchildren, Destiny and Destin Smith of Clanton; Grandchildren, Micah Short of Hueytown, Skylar Mims of Thorsby, Hudson Matthews of Montgomery; brothers, Stanley (Patsy) Roper, Kenny (Tammy) Roper; sister, Betty Carol (Keith) Brasher; step-brothers, Timmy Sledge, Johnny Luker; step-sisters, Lithia (Randy) Davenport, Tammy (Ralph) Edwards, April (Scotty) Scott, Sherry (Goodlowe, Jr.) Green; A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Alton and Carol Jean Roper.
Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Billy Wyatt officiating.
Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville.
