The Veterans Memorial Committee held its annual Memorial Service at the site of the memorial on the east lawn of the Chilton County Courthouse on Monday. Residents attended to help keep alive the memory of local heroes who gave their lives for our country.

- Ruby Varner was this year’s selection to place a wreath on the veterans memorial at the Chilton County Courthouse. The annual tradition took place Monday at the Memorial Day celebration.
