Edward Joseph Irvin

Edward Joseph Irvin, age 48 of Verbena, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2016, as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born in Silver Springs, Md. on Aug. 6, 1967, the son of the late John Joseph Irvin and Mary Ann Lewis Logan.
He was an automotive mechanic.
He is survived by: daughter, Tori Irvin of Verbena; son, E.J. Irvin of Verbena; step-daughter, Jessecka (Jarod) Champion of Stanton; grandson, Joseph Champion of Stanton; mother, Mary (Morris) Logan of Stanton; brother, Charles (Pam) Windham of S.C.; brother, John (Cecialia) Irvin of Texas; brother, Bill (Tammy) Irvin of Maplesville; brother, Deke (Leigh) Irvin of Childersburg; special friend, Ruth Ann Irvin of Verbena; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with the Rev. Tony Christensen officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
The family requests that everyone please wear casual attire for the services.
The family also asks that in lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in Ed’s memory to the Autism Society of Alabama 4217 Dolly Ridge Road Birmingham, AL 35243.
