Missions is an important and vital part of the life of any church. For several years, Mulberry has had a Missions Night emphasis once a month that has kept members informed of mission work at home and abroad.
This year, the church’s Leadership Team felt a change was needed in the missions emphasis. The church invited local ministries to set up a booth at a first-ever missions fair, and it was a great success.
Nine ministries and several churches were represented with about 110 people in attendance. The church now has more of a hands-on approach to mission work as well as continuing to support missions through a Cooperative Program.
Church leaders thanked the ministries for their continued faithfulness to Kingdom work: Chilton Baptist Association, Raleigh’s Place, Butterfly Bridge, Bridgestone, En Fuego, Son Light Center, Gideons, Care Net and Good Shepherd Ministries.
