Bette Carol Easterling, 59, of Jemison died Monday, April 25, 2016, at her residence.

She was born on Saturday, June 23, 1956, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Arlis Hodgens.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Carl Easterling of Jemison; daughter, Michelle (Paul) Smith of Jemison; son, Jeffrey Easterling of Auburn; nephews, Brian Langston of Clanton and Dell Langston of Clanton; and special furry companions, Yoshee and Hershee.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlis Fox; and sister, Evelyn Hicks.

Friends will be received from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at Martin Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, April 30 at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist No. 1 Cemetery, Jemison, with the Rev. Doug West officiating.
