Carol Eugenia Brasher Lowery, 72, of Jemison died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at UAB in Birmingham.

She was born on Monday, September 27, 1943, in Tuscaloosa, daughter of the late Louis Marshall Brasher and the late Nina Earle Ball Brasher.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Ned Lowery of Jemison; sons, Daryl (Suzie) Lowery of Jemison, Duane (Nancy) Lowery of Hayneville, Shawn (Marsheta) Lowery of Westmoreland, Tenn.; daughters, Lisa (Eddie) Vines of Hoover, Jennifer (Lance) Baker of Jemison; brother, Joe (Emily) Brasher of Vestavia; 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

Friends will be received from 9-11 a.m., Saturday, April 16 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Saturday, April 16 at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Lenny Howard and the Rev. Tony Hughes officiating.

Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
