Mary Ogburn Cofer, 75, of Eclectic died Monday, April 11, 2016, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

She was born on Saturday, May 11, 1940, in Alabama, daughter of the late John Ogburn and the late Lois Spiegel Ogburn.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her sons, Jeffrey “Lon” Cofer of Eclectic, Tony L. Cofer of Montgomery; grandsons, Robert “Lee” Cofer of Montgomery, Jeffrey “Lyle” Cofer of Montgomery; sister, Betty Martin of Homestead, Fla.; brothers, Bob Ogburn of Montgomery, Joe Ogburn of Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Leo” Cofer; sister, Virginia “Cookie” Teta; brother, Johnny Ogburn.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 14 at 1:30 p.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
