Kathy Ann Moates Blankenship, 56, of Clanton, passed away on March 9 in Alabaster.

She was born on April 25, 1959, the daughter of the late Willie Edsel Moates and the late Faye Nell Robinson Moates.

She was a cashier.

She is survived by her brother, Willie Moates (Kerecia) of Clanton and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Edsel Moates and Faye Nell Moates.

A memorial service will be held on March 14 at 6 p.m. from Ellison Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on March 14 at the funeral home.
