Dear editor:

I would like to urge every Southern Baptist church member to vote “no” on the wet/dry issue on the ballot on March 1.

We entered into covenant with the church that says we will not promote the sale or use of alcohol.

The fact that we receive $300,000 in the county for being dry should also encourage us to vote “no”.
