Joyce R. Wilson, 87, of Maplesville, formerly of Bessemer, passed away Feb. 9.

She was a longtime member of Mulberry Baptist Church.

Joyce worked at A&P Grocery in Bessemer for many years.

She was also a marketing counselor for Tom Murphy Realty, now known as Real Estate Associates.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Wilson; her great grandson, Robby Cummins; her sister, Alice Kendrick and her parents, Walter and Clemmie Roubdioux.

She is survived by her son, Robert N. (Cathy) Cummins, Jr.; her grandchildren, Chris (Sonia) Cummins, April (Eddie) Cheatham and Jennifer (Josh) Giles; eight great grandchildren and her nephew, Tim (Sandra) Naish.

Funeral services will be Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home with burial following at Highland Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Feb. 12 from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
