Henry Ellis Henderson, 71, of Marbury, passed away on Feb. 8 at his residence.

He was born in Randolph on March 22, 1944, the son of the late William E. Henderson and the late Elsie Frith Henderson.

He was a former heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Henderson of Marbury; son, Ronnie Henderson; daughter, Holly Spears; daughter, Cassie Snipes; son, Hugh Brothers; son, Allen Brothers; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, John Henderson (Jewell); sister, Annette Smitherman; sister, Magdalene Millstead; mother-in-law, Elsie Nichols and brother-in-law, Ronnie Nichols.

Visitation was held Feb. 10 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. from New Prospect Baptist Church.

The body will be in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Cemetery in Prattville.
