Marie C. Rhodes, 79, of Clanton, died Jan. 28.

She was born on July 5, 1936, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Theodore Cleckler and the late Lillie Dennis Cleckler.

She was a cake decorator.

Surviving are her son, Jerry Rhodes (Denise); daughters, Ann Courtney (Kenny), Debbie Easterling (Rickie), Sherrie Heflin (James); eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, Lonza Cleckler and sister, Carolyn Rhodes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Lillie Cleckler.

Friends will be received from noon until 2 p.m. Jan. 31 at Clanton Church of God.

Services will be held Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. at Clanton Church of God with the Rev. Billy Boatwright and the Rev. Joey Boatwright officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Clanton.
