Trilliam Apartment Complex in Clanton is now under new management and hoping to let the community know with two open houses scheduled this week.

“We just want people to come by and take a look around,” said Trilliam Marketing Consultant Cadi Mims. “A lot of people who live here in Chilton County have never stopped by, and this is a great time for anyone interested in locating an apartment.”

JMG Realty out of Atlanta began managing the 128-unit complex in July 2015, according to Mims.

An open house was held Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., and a second open house will be held from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Individuals can stop by the clubhouse for refreshments, and anyone who takes a tour of the homes will be entered to win a $50 gift card.

“We just want people to see what we are all about,” Mims said. “Plus, if someone is looking for a place to live, this allows them the opportunity to find out more information.”

Mims said the complex is also currently offering a $99 move-in special with approved credit, which includes the administration fee, deposit and application.

“It is a $260 savings,” Mims said. “We are also offering the first half of the month for free when someone moves in.”

Some of the amenities at the complex include two swimming pools, a clubhouse with a flat-screen television, a fitness center, 18 individual storage garages, a grilling area, a laundry facility and the complex is “pet friendly.”

Mims said the apartments include a laundry room with washer/dryer connections, all modern appliances including a microwave, and large areas for storage space.

The 16-building complex has eight homes in each building, according to Mims.

“We get a lot of calls from people asking about the apartment complex,” Mims said. “People usually want to know if this place is family-friendly or geared toward a certain age group, and we tell them that anyone who meets our residence selection criteria can live here. We want this to be home for anyone who is interested.”

The apartments are located at 425 Trilliam Lane in Clanton.
