Corinth Missionary Baptist Church

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We will be having our Thanksgiving dinner following service this Sunday. Bring a covered dish and join us!

We had a wonderful time at our campout and sunrise service last week. If you did not get to make it this time, do not worry because you can join us on our next one!

Plans are in the works to campout on New Year’s Eve at our regular social! Keep an eye on our facebook page for all the latest info!

As we get ready for all the Thanksgiving festivities this year do not forget to give thanks to the one who blesses you daily! Be grateful year round for his grace and for everyone around you!

I stumbled upon a wonderful anonymous poem that I would like to share with you. “Count your blessings instead of your crosses; count your gains instead of your losses. Count your joys instead of your woes; count your friends instead of your foes. Count your smiles instead of your tears; count your courage instead of your fears. Count your full years instead of your lean; count your kind deeds instead of your mean. Count your health instead of your wealth; count on God instead of yourself.”

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! Until next time, may God bless you and keep you. We hope to see you soon!

Rocky Mount United Methodist Church

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We hope you will take a few moments to think about the many blessings you have been given. Even in the hard times, there is much to be thankful for!

Rocky Mount enjoyed a family potluck meal together last Sunday. It is always great to come together and share a meal and fellowship.

Next Sunday Rocky Mount will have its regular Sunday school and worship service followed by a light snack lunch and then the annual “Hanging of the Greens” ceremony.

We invite you to come worship with us, feel your body and your soul and help decorate our church for the Christmas season.
