Sharon Diane Varden, 60, of Clanton, passed away on Dec. 7 at her home.

She was born on Sept. 15, 1955, the daughter of the late Ermon Cleckler and Myrtle Baker Cleckler.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wayne Varden of Clanton; son, Kendall Varden Sr. of Clanton; son, Brian Varden of Clanton; grandson, Kendall Varden Jr. of Clanton; grandson, Joshua Varden of Clanton; brother, James Cleckler (Charlotte) of Clanton; brother, Jimmy Cleckler (Gail) of Clanton; sister-in-law, Barbara Codey (Charles) of Clanton and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ermon and Myrtle Baker Cleckler.

Funeral services will be held on Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. from the Highland Baptist Church in Clanton.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the church.

Burial will follow in the Highland Baptist Church Cemetery.
