With only a couple of weekends left in the 2015 college football season, the Chilton Auburn Club will host its annual Beat Bama Bash Tuesday at Clanton First United Methodist Church beginning at 6:30 p.m.
No matter the record, in-state bragging rights are on the line any time these two rivals meet.
According to Debbie Orange with the Chilton Auburn Club, she expects a crowd of about 150 even though the season has not gone as many fans expected entering the year.
Those in attendance will enjoy chili worthy of a tailgate. The food and drink portion of the event is free to all fans that bleed orange and blue and will be provided by the club.
There will not be a speaker at this year’s bash, but other activities are lined up to take its place including an opportunity to check off some of that Christmas shopping list. All the money received from the sale will go toward the club’s scholarship fund.
The fee to participate in the activities is $25 per family and can be paid at the bash.
“Come join us for a good time,” Orange said. “War Eagle!”
