A Thursday night game for the Billingsley Bears quickly turned into the DJ Dunigan show as the Bears halfback put up 306 yards on 24 carries with four touchdowns as Billingsley knocked off Autaugaville 40-22.
Dunigan put the Bears on the scoreboard first with Billingsley’s second possession of the game via a three-yard touchdown run.
The Dunigan touchdown was the only points in the first half as the Bears took a 7-0 lead to the halftime break.
Javon Brown set the Billingsley offense up by picking off an Eagles pass to start the second half and with the next play, Dunigan picked up his second score of the night with a 30-yard touchdown that started five consecutive Billingsley touchdowns as the Bears ran away from the Eagles.
