Gary Eugene Cleckler, 60, of Thorsby, died Oct. 18.

He was born on March 31, 1955, in Alabama, the son of the late Harvey Lee Cleckler and the late Virginia Partridge Cleckler.

He was a supervisor with Alabama Power Company.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Burnett Cleckler of Thorsby; son, Eric Cleckler (Carissa) of Thorsby; daughter, Chasity (Chris) Chapman of Thorsby; grandsons, Kobe Cleckler, Braden Chapman; granddaughters, Gracey Chapman, Bailee Cleckler, Mattie Cleckler; brother, Dale Cleckler (Diane); sister, Rhonda Jo Smith; and a host of brother and sister-in-laws and loving nieces and nephews who will miss their Uncle Gary.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Lee and Virginia Cleckler.

Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 20 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Shane Wyatt officiating.

Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery in Thorsby.
