Norma Louise Longsine

Norma Louise Longsine, 88, of Clanton, passed away Oct. 7 at her residence.
She was born in Globe, Ariz. on May 9, 1927, the daughter of the late Jack Kartchner and the late Irma Wakefield Kartchner.
She was a former nurse.
She is survived by daughter, Peggy Louise Abbott (George); son, Darrell Dean Longsine; daughter, Tina Louise Perdue (Tim); grandchildren, Harvey Starling (Amanda), Robert Starling (Lynn), James Starling (Jennifer), Page Rogers (Dustin) and Haley Louise Perdue; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ned Kartchner, Rex Kartchner and Judy Kartchner.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Dean “Ike” Longsine; granddaughter, Mariah Longsine; daughter-in-law, Dolly Longsine; parents, Jack W. Kartchner and Irma Wakefield Kartchner; and siblings, Jack Dean Kartchner and Melvin Kartchner.
Funeral services were held Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.
The family received friends one hour prior to the service.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Chilton County Humane Society.
