Tigers can’t keep up at Oxford

Chilton County High School faded late in a 42-7 loss at Oxford on Friday.

Oxford (2-2 overall, 1-1 region) led 7-0 at the end of the first quarter and 14-0 at halftime.

CCHS (2-2, 0-2) cut the lead in half with a 40-yard pass from Kendall Davis to C.J. Driver in the third quarter, after a lengthy weather delay, but the Yellow Jackets then reeled off 28 unanswered points to win comfortably.
