Sister Mary of the Rosary Jones O.P., 89, of Marbury, died Aug. 24 at Dominican Monastery of St. Jude, Marbury.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late Andrew Jones and the late Lalia Davis Jones.

She was a nun.

Surviving are Mother Mary Joseph; Sister Mary of the Sacred Heart; Sister Mary of the Precious Blood; Sister Mary Jordan; Sister Mary Thomas; Sister Chelsea; Sister Mary Aimee; aunt, June Jones; cousin, Junemary Heard and other relatives.

Services will be held Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. at Dominican Monastery of St. Jude with Father Den Irwin of St. Martin of Tours in Troy.

Interment will follow in Dominican Monastery of St. Jude.
