Annie Bracknell Chesser, 87, of Maplesville, died Aug. 6 at her residence.

She was born on Oct. 21, 1927, in Bibb County, the daughter of the late Elzie Bracknell and the late Ellen Queen Thomas Bracknell.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughters, Suzanne Chesser (Henry) Williams of Thorsby and Shari DeVaughn Welcher; brothers, Eldridge Bracknell and Elbert Bracknell; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. Aug. 8 at Mulberry Baptist Church.

Services will be held Aug. 8 at 11 a.m. at Mulberry Baptist Church with the Rev. David Bishop officiating.

Interment will follow in Mulberry Baptist Cemetery in Maplesville.
