Friendship Baptist Church
Revival has begun at Friendship Baptist. Our call to worship was “Pentecostal Power” and the choir special was “The Heart of Worship” with solos by Morgan Fowler and Ty Moore. Bro. Frank Jones led the singing.
Bro. Don Graham brought the message “Home Sweet Home” from Psalm 127.
Bible study and prayer is a must. Read the Bible every day as a family.
Bro. Don Graham continued the revival message from Psalm 127 during the evening service. Children are a gift from the Lord and the joy of life; they are treasures to God.
Upcoming events:
Aug. 8: The World’s Longest Yard Sale trip. See Regeana for details. We plan to leave the church at 3 a.m.
Aug. 8: Senior ladies Sunday School social.
Aug. 12-18: Medical mission trip to Guatemala.
Aug. 18: The sewing group will meet in at 10 a.m. in the fellowship hall.
Aug. 28: Gospel singing featuring The Dixie Echoes and The Samaritans starting at 7 p.m. at Friendship Baptist.
Prayer requests: Yvonne Bryars, those traveling, schools, students, teachers, Jimmy Higgins, Debra Higgins Collins, Wilma Connell Easterling’s mother and Myra Patterson’s mother.

Friendship Baptist Church
Friendship Baptist Church located on Alabama Highway 183 in Lawley will hold revival at 7 p.m. each night Aug. 16-19. Bro. Billy Harris will be the guest speaker each night.
Victory Chapel Church
