Gerald Wayne Stamps

Gerald Wayne Stamps, 50, of Jemison, went to his heavenly home July 18 at Baptist Medical Center Easter in Montgomery.
He was born on May 28, 1965, in Jefferson County, the son of Gerald Edward Stamps and Marie Bachman Stamps.
He was a beloved pastor of Old Macedonia Church and loved by so many.
Surviving are his wife, Amy Stamps; son, Jeremy Stamps; daughters, Kristen Stamps and Lynn Stamps; mother, Marie Stamps; father, Gerald Edward Stamps; sisters, Debbie Traywick (Billy Mack), Pam Elmore (Jody), Lisa Shaw (Tony); numerous nieces and nephews and brothers in Christ, David, Darrell and Brian Jones.
He was preceded in death by his twin infant sons, Jacob and Joshua Stamps.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m. July 20 at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held July 21 at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. David Jones and the Rev. Austin Ball officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Clanton.
