Michael Lynn Rhodes, 49, passed away suddenly on July 9 at home in Clanton.

Michael was born Nov. 5, 1965, in Clanton, to Barbara and William Rhodes.

Michael attended Jemison High School. He was a cook most of his career until the last few moths where worked on a fruit farm. Michael was a diehard Auburn football fan who also enjoyed Nascar and time with family.

Michael is survived by his children, Alex Williams, Josh Rhodes, Dillan Rhodes and Colton Rhodes, all of Clanton; sister, Vickie Wilkins of Clanton; brother, Greg Rhodes of Gulf Shores; Neal Rhodes of Georgia; and three half brothers, Brice Rhodes, Kevin Rhodes and Casey Rhodes, all of Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Hayes and father, William Rhodes.

And a special loved one, Louise Easterling “Big Mama.”

Graveside services will held at July 18 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Verbena.
