Marshall Edgar Greene, 85, of Clanton, passed away June 26 at Gardens of Pelham.

He was born on Nov. 18, 1929, in Chilton County, the son of the late Len Green and the late Eunice Vinson Green.

He was a heavy equipment operator for the Chilton County Road Department.

Surviving are sister, Lemerle Hamm of Jemison; brother, Gilbert (Evelyn) Green of Clanton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Greene; sister, Elaine Simpson and brothers, William, Paul and D.M. Green.

Friends will be received from 2:30-3:30 p.m., June 28 at Bethsalem Baptist Church.

Services will be held June 28 at 3:30 p.m. at Bethsalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Cleve Mallory officiating.

Interment will follow in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery in Billingsley.
